Welcome to the official Dayton Waters website! This is the place to find out all you could ever want to know about your favorite acoustic performer!!
DAYTON WATERS
For those of you new to the Dayton Waters experience, there is no way to prepare you for one of his shows other than to say, "Get Ready!" He is passionate and tireless. He takes you with him on a journey of memories and music with an intensity seldom found in a nightclub performance. His original music is heart-wrenching, uplifting and even funny at times, but it is also a window into the soul of a proverbial poet-warrior. He prefers to play pubs so he can make eye contact with each member of the audience, but his music makes you feel as if you are at a stadium concert and will captivate you as much as the emotion he so freely shares while performing. Every show is a testament to the life that has brought him before us. Get to a show... and GET READY!

Dayton Update! Hot Springs Some of you may know that Dayton's 40th birthday is March 4th. That happens to be POKER NIGHT at the Big Chill, so you will find him at a Texas Hold "Em table in the lower basement where he is not only a player, but is also the Tournament Director. Fear not, Dayton plans to celebrate with you at the Chill that very weekend (7th & 8th), so come on in and have a blast!! Also, April 11th and 12th is Arkansas Derby Weekend and sees the return of Grant Pierson to the Big Chill. If you've seen the Pierson Waters Project, you know what the hubbub is all about. If you haven't, you have been missing out BIG TIME! No better weekend to catch their show than Derby Weekend at the Chill!! John Dean is back where he began as a bar manager, but now he is co-owner of Player's in Hot Springs! Catch Dayton there every Sunday evening during race meet! So, when you're done at Oaklawn Race Track, just mosey across the street for a cool one and some Dayton Waters! Texarkana On the 3rd Friday of any month, head out I-30 West to the Nash exit and go north for a few miles. Watch the left side of the road for a sign that says something about Dayton Waters and you are at Lee's Catfish. As long as the weather is right, Dayton will be playing on the picturesque patio whereupon you can get the finest catfish dinner in a three state area. If the weather is not so perfect, never fear, Dayton will be inside for your Texark fix of the hottest live music show around! Dardenelle Almost two years ago, Dayton met pro golf legend John Daly. He happened to be at a club where Dayton was playing that night and they hit it off immediately. Since then, Dayton has become fast friends with John's brother, Jamie who, along with Cathy Daly, runs Daly's Downtown on Front Street in Dardenelle. This place is classy, yet not overstated. The food is superb and the atmosphere is portrays the attitude the Dalys display in their everyday lives: Everyone is welcome, come on in and have a great time! Dayton also has an open invitation to perform at the annual John Daly Benefit Golf Tournament for Boy's and Girl's Clubs every spring. This year he shared the stage with country music sensation Steve Azar and guitarist Mark Brian of Hootie and the Blowfish. It was a blowout of a time and you should make plans to support this great cause next Spring. - Victor "Delivered From My Silence" Gilcrest
