2002, this CD is the result of over 10
years of songwriting. It's just Dayton
and his 12-string. To the unknowing
reader, that might not sound like much.
But those who have seen the Dayton
Waters show know that there really isn't
anything else required. This entire
album was recorded at Acadiana Music,
New Iberia, Louisiana in December
2001. All the songs are DW originals
(with one collaboration) and every one
of them opens a window into Dayton's
soul. If it's acoustic power and heartfelt
lyrics that turn you on, you need this
album in your collection!

collaboration between Grant Pierson and
Dayton Waters. The two had been
performing as a duo for over two years
when they decided to put a "band"
together. Both knew they didn't want to
be a typical "bar band," so they decided to
stick with what people came to know and
love about them the most - powerful
acoustic music. Then, with inspiration from
long-time radio personality Don Rivers,
they decided to go into the studio and lay
down an album that is half Pierson, half
Waters, and totally awesome!
