| For those of you new to the Dayton Waters experience, there is no way to prepare you for one of his shows other than to say, "Get Ready!" He is passionate and tireless. He takes you with him on a journey of memories and music with an intensity seldom found in a nightclub performance. His original music is heart-wrenching, uplifting and even funny at times, but it is also a window into the soul of a proverbial poet-warrior. He prefers to play pubs so he can make eye contact with each member of the audience, but his music makes you feel as if you are at a stadium concert and will captivate you as much as the emotion he so freely shares while performing. Every show is a testament to the life that has brought him before us. Get to a show... and GET READY! |

| Dayton Update! Hot Springs The Spring saw great horse racing, wild weather and lots of Dayton Waters!! DW has added a few new venues to his already crammed schedule, so your excuses for not catching a show are becoming fewer and fewer! At least a couple of Wednesdays a month finds Dayton on the prestigious Big Chill stage. One weekend a month you'll find him there with Grant Pierson - together they are The Pierson-Waters Project - and that is a show you don't want to miss! Big Chill - 910 Hidon Ferry Rd., Spa City. Don't have time to have a bad time at A little further down the road is the Waterin Hole. The Hole features pool tournaments, good grub and an all around fun atmosphere. And they LOVE them some Dayton Waters!! This is one of those rare occasions it's good to be in the Hole!! The Waterin Hole, that is!! See ya there! The legendary Maxine's has undergone yet another change - as of June 1st, it is a NON-SMOKING establishment!! That means everyone of all ages is welcome!! That's an awesome thing because there are lots and lots of younger folks who have been wanting to catch a Dayton Waters show, but haven't been able to because of nightclub restrictions! Those days are over because the legendary Maxine's and Dayton Waters welcomes you! Maxine's is located downtown Spaville right across from Bathhouse Row. We've picked up a couple of new venues in the Spa City, believe it or not!! Dayton played a roaring show at Timeout (formerly Hilltop Tavern) recently and rock their socks off!! Timeout is located directly across form the Hot Springs Convention Center on Convention Blvd. Lookin' forward to the next show there, for sure! You can also expect to see Dayton at The Velda Rose in coming weeks. Texarkana The Bordertown is now home to Arkansas' Largest Nightclub - PURPLE RAIN - and they have acquired Arkansas' hottest solo act - Dayton Waters!!! This place is HOT!! The lounge, where you'll find Dayton, is only two or three times larger than other clubs he plays. But the dance club - holy smokes!! - Huge dance floor, split-level full service bars, VIP room (woohoo) and an overall atmosphere ready for a party!! The sound system is awesome (on both sides), the staff is uber-professional - (the gentlemen members of the staff are dressed in suits, complete with purple necktie) - the IS the place to be on any given night!! You know they are dialed in when they get Dayton Waters as a headliner for several future shows. Go downtown, Broad and Walnut, across from Zapata's. You can't miss it because it gots purple lights all across the front of the building!! We only want see you dancing in the - PURPLE RAIN!! On the 3rd Friday of any month, head out I-30 West to the Nash exit and go north for a few miles. Watch the left side of the road for a sign that says something about Dayton Waters and you are at Lee's Catfish. As long as the weather is right, Dayton will be playing on the picturesque patio whereupon you can get the finest catfish dinner in a three state area. If the weather is not so perfect, never fear, Dayton will be inside for your Texark fix of the hottest live music show around! Dardenelle The rivertown has a top-notch restaurant and bar located right there on Front Street - it's Daly's Downtown. Great food, great atmosphere and great music -- not sure what else you could possibly be looking for unless of course it's Dayton Waters at Daly's Downtown!! Fort Smith After a layoff of almost two years, 2008 finds Dayton back in the Old Fort!! Fans and friends have welcomed him back like long lost family and every time he plays in Fort Smith, it is an amazing experience!! Tim Wilson's Rib Shack welcomes Dayton on some Thursdays this summer for BIKE NIGHT!! The patio at the Shack is big enough that some folks even park their bikes right by their table!! Dayton also has a couple of weekend gigs there, so check the calendar page and get out to the Rib Shack for awesome BBQ, great atmosphere and Dayton Waters live!! Wilson's Rib Shack is located on US Hwy 71 S, less than a mile north of I-540. Lost Beach Island Oasis is proud to bring Dayton back to the Fort, too! Sports bar in the front, live stage and party room in the back, good food and great atmosphere!! Zero Avenue across from Sutherland's. Come find the treasure of Dayton Waters live at The Lost Beach!! Shreveport Dayton's debut in Shreveport, Louisiana is May 30th at The Noble Savage Tavern!! We can't wait to meet new folks and rock 'em in Shreve! There are other dates at the Savage, so if you miss this one, catch the next, but don't make a habit of missing a Dayton Waters show!! Phew!! I was beginning to wonder if I was ever gonna get to the end of the update!! As I said before, your excuses for missing a Dayton Waters event are just about nil - seems like this guy is EVERYWHERE!!
